Colman Domingo is my favorite actor. It really can turn reading the phone book into a gripping story. This is almost as gripping as the madness itself. The dialogue is embarrassingly bad. They try really hard to be sharp and fast, but it feels very predictable and boring. From the beginning, there’s a lot about the story that defies basic common sense. I was constantly saying “Why, why, why?!” So much so that after episode 2 I skipped episode 7 to see what would happen at the end. I have no doubt that the episodes I missed had too much storytelling and too much unnecessary dialogue.
