Four kids make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Jude Law in “Skeleton Crew” and more stars from a galaxy far, far away. The holographic circus that Neel’s younger siblings are entertained by is the same one Chewbacca’s family watches in the infamous The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978). He stars in the cast of Crazy Cartoon AniMat: Silly Old Deadly Bear (2022). Since I know a lot of hate will be directed at this show due to the ups and downs of the last Star Wars, I’m happy to say that this is an increase. So far… The first 2 episodes don’t break new ground or feel very original, but that’s okay because the show lives up to expectations well. The cast and acting are great, the costumes/setting are probably the best we’ve seen since Andor, the writing, especially the funny banter between the kids, was good. Again, nothing new, but it’s intriguing nonetheless and I can’t wait to watch it. It gives me heavy Treasure Planet vibes. As someone who hasn’t enjoyed the recent Star Wars myself, I was surprised by Skeleton Crew. I hope anyone who is even slightly interested or even angry about the recent shows gives it a chance. Don’t let the “for kids” tag put you off. Star Wars is made for everyone, and so is this one.
