Anyway, I’m halfway through the first season and it’s not as good as the books!

I was very hesitant to watch Silo because I had a very vivid inside view of this post-apocalyptic world in the books and I didn’t want to spoil it. What I mean is that the setting is there, the events and foundations that made the books great. However, most of the detailed story is completely new and embellished, filling in the gaps on things that were hinted at or glossed over in the books.

Much of it was as I imagined

I’m glad I still keep a separate version of the books in my head and the show as a fun, new version. I have to say that they did a GREAT job with the casting and sets. But the differences set the book apart and I like that.

This is probably the first time I’m glad the show isn’t exactly like the books, but I still really like the show. New season “Silo” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month. See more on our November calendar!
