A grieving therapist starts telling his clients exactly what he thinks

By ignoring his education and ethics, he makes huge changes in people’s lives — including his own. The cast of ‘Shrinking’ share the defining moments of their characters in Season 1 and reveal who made the best Harrison Ford impression. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they landed Harrison Ford for the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and was going to audition people who were similar to Ford.

Segel told Goldstein that they had to at least take it to Ford first, thinking he would immediately reject it, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford brought the project to them and piqued the interest of other big-name actors. Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and convinced him to do the part. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was excited nonetheless..

Two episodes have now been released and this show is showing a lot of promise, the chemistry between the characters is infectious and at times even strangely… uplifting in a way that most shows aren’t, just reminding us of the community of the show because of these elements. I’m not sure if this is an accurate representation of how a therapist deals with issues, but it certainly allows Jason Segel to put his own spin on it. Rhodes, a sort of boss and mentor to Jason.

What I see here seems so alive and the possibilities are perhaps (?) endless as I see Jimmy dealing with these things

I wasn’t sure how his character would come across in this series, but Rhodes’ antisocial nature certainly plays into the personality that Ford is getting to know quite well, thinking about how the more terrifying elements of his character, Han Solo from Star Wars, fit in like a glove in this show. Somehow Sean (Luke Tennie) plays the role of Jimmy’s (Segel) son while he deals with family issues with his daughter Alice (Lukita Maxwell)… By the way, the theme song to this show is so good that I didn’t even skip it when I watched the second episode…

And the music in this show is so good

Overall, it’s shaping up to be really great and I hope it only gets better from here.
