The first hour and a half is an excellently made political intrigue with gorgeous cinematography and fantastic acting game against the backdrop of the beautiful architecture of the Vatican.
The final ten minutes are a strangely contrived progressive diversion that will make you wonder if you’re still watching the same movie
Ralph Fiennes is terrific as the Dean who presides over the Conclave and does his best to unravel the various plots to sabotage the candidacies of a few “favorites.” 9/10 for this part of the movie.
Tedesco is the real hero
